Mrs. Walden's Journalism Class Uses Adobe Photoshop and Indesign to Create Yearbook.

C.D.. Fulkes Journalism students create the yearbook using Adobe PhotoShop and Adobe Indesign. These students are responsible for all aspects of creating a publication: developing a theme, marketing a product, designing covers, endsheets and layouts in Indesign, using digital cameras for all photography needs, cropping and editing photos in PhotoShop and proofreading for a final publication. They learn that the design skills they use in yearbook can translate to projects in other content areas, as well as, their personal life.

Mr. Gassner -
This hands-on class integrates math, science and technology to show how engineering is used to solve everyday problems. Students develop skills that will prepare them for a rigorous high school curriculum. We will study the first three units which are Design and Modeling , Automation and Robotics, and Energy and Environment.

The students created a CO2 car. (Investigate and describe applications of Newton's law of intertia, law of force and acceleration, and law of action reaction such as in vehicle restraints, sports activities, amusement park rides, and ROCKET LAUNCHES.)
