C.D. Fulkes utilizes Think Through Math for intervention and enrichment purposes.  TTM research supports that when students complete 20 lessons, the data shows the progress students are making.  Students are engaged and eager to work towards progress, contests, and donation to charities.

6th Grade World Cultures Review with Activ Expressions

Mrs. Green and Ms. Smith used Activ Expressions with their students to review for final exams.  The students responded to the questions with the Activ Expressions.  They received immediate feedback to the correct answer and the percentage correct.  

Mr. Tate's Discovery Class uses Pixlr to edit images for a magazine lay out.  Pixlr is a online photo editing tool that does not require a log on to use.

Think Through Math

Students in Mrs. Hemm's math class use Think Through Math.  Based on individual needs, the program guides the students level of progression through concepts and skills.

Orchestra Uses Smart Music and Scores 1 in Competition.

Our talented CD Fulkes' orchestra students received a 1 on stage performance, and a 1 in sight-reading. The students use a program called Smart Music to practice. Smart Music listens as students play, giving instant feedback on assessable files. Students are able to record and play back for self assessment.  

Robotics Engineering using Lego Mindstorms-NXT

Students at CDFulkes use LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT to build, and program using a microcomputer brick, and drag-and-drop programming software. 

Science Fair

Colored light, invisible light, catapult, floods, research and technology were the focus of the Science Fair.  The students from CD Fulkes participated in this event.  Many hours of discovery and research went into this project! 

Pixton

Students use Pixton to create comic strips.  

The strips will identify the details of the topic.

Mrs. Oliver's 7th ELA ISearch Reflective Paper/Edmodo

7th ELA researched and created an ISearch reflective paper.  

The students were given a code in Edmodo for their class to join a group.

Mrs. Oliver prepared a form and the student submitted their papers.  

The responses become a spreadsheet view for the teacher.  It can be accessed by many devices. (Computer, Phone, Tablets)
