CD Fulkes- Academic Night

CD Fulkes hosted a sucessful Academic Night.  The goal was to have a meaningful conference atmosphere, while increasing knowledge of academic and extracurricular opportunities at CDFMS.  More information was provided about the new STAAR exam.

Mrs. Walden's Journalism Class Uses Adobe Photoshop and Indesign to Create Yearbook.

C.D.. Fulkes Journalism students create the yearbook using Adobe PhotoShop and Adobe Indesign. These students are responsible for all aspects of creating a publication: developing a theme, marketing a product, designing covers, endsheets and layouts in Indesign, using digital cameras for all photography needs, cropping and editing photos in PhotoShop and proofreading for a final publication. They learn that the design skills they use in yearbook can translate to projects in other content areas, as well as, their personal life.

In Wigley and Kosowski's Discovery classes the students use family recipes and research to create final products in publisher.

In Tripp and Maitland's 8th grade science class the students gather temperature/light data from a Probe.
